1:12. ସହେି ସୁସମାଚାର କହିଥିବାରୁ ଏବେ ମୁଁ କଷ୍ଟ ପାଉଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିଛି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ। ମାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆଶା ଅଛି ଯେ, ସେ ସହେି ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସହେିଦିନ296 ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ଯେଉଁଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ସେ ମାେ ଉପରେ ନ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।

1:12. Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.

1:12. That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.

1:12. For which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.
